ABRASIVE BLAST CLEANING using garnet, glass bead, aluminium oxide or walnut shell. MEASUREMENT – residual magnetism.
Assessment of material composition and strength. METALLOGRAPHY of metals or components.
BALANCING of automotive conrods and piston assemblies. METALLURGICAL consulting.
Black light CRACK TESTING – magnetic particle or liquid penetrant. PAINT removal – chemical or mechanical. Can re-finish if required.
Controlled CRYOGENIC treatment. PASSIVATION tests on stainless steels.
Controlled SHOT PEENING. PHOTOGRAPHY – 35mm or digital.
DATALOGGING – count, temp, pressure, voltage, displacement, load, AFR. Pick-up and delivery in western Sydney Metro areas.
DEFLASHING / POLISHING of automotive rods and cranks. SOLVENT DEGREASING.
EDDY CURRENT TESTING for defects, or % IACS electrical conductivity. SPOT TESTS on metals, and plated coatings.
ENGRAVING. TECHNICAL LIBRARY on materials and materials processing.
Failure, wear and corrosion investigation. TEMPERATURE measurement – IR or thermocouple, -200 to 1200° C.
HARDNESS TESTING. Vickers (including microhardness), Rockwell or Brinell. ULTRASONIC cleaning of small parts.
MACHINING, FABRICATION – milling, turning, drilling, grinding, deburring, TIG welding (steel and aluminium).. ULTRASONIC TESTING for defects or thickness, using Panametrics Epoch 3B flaw detector.
MEASUREMENT – Force up to 50kN with up to 1% accuracy. HEAT TREATMENT (to 1150° C) – small parts to maximum 250 x 150 x 75mm
